FAQ
Is the content truly removed?
Yes. Solid blocks are drawn over each match and a new PDF is exported, so the underlying text does not travel with the file.
Is regex supported?
Yes. Switch to regex mode and write patterns such as 1[3-9]\d{9} for phone numbers, ideal for IDs, mobiles and emails.
Do Chinese keywords work?
Yes. Chinese is matched as whole strings. Run the sensitive-data detector first to confirm the terms, then paste them here.
Could it redact too much?
Tick whole-word matching to reduce false positives, and review the hit count and page numbers in the report before exporting.
How is this different from whiteout?
Whiteout needs manual coordinates and suits a few spots, while this tool finds matches automatically across the whole document.
