FAQ

Is the text still selectable afterwards?
No. Each page is re-rendered as an image, so the output is an image-based PDF and text is no longer selectable. Keep a copy of the original.
How do I pick the intensity?
Light keeps readability with a subtle aged look, medium matches a typical scan, and strong adds heavy greying and noise like an old photocopy.
Can I change the output resolution?
Yes. The default is 150 DPI, close to a normal scan. Choose 200 or 300 DPI for sharper output at the cost of a much larger file.
Can I process only some pages?
Yes. Enter page numbers in the range field using formats like 1,3,5 or 2-6. Unselected pages stay untouched.
Will the original file change?
No. Every effect is applied to a new output copy, so the source file stays as it is.
