How is the output page size calculated?
For vertical stacking the width is the largest page width and the height is the sum of all heights plus gaps. Horizontal stacking swaps the two.
What if pages have different sizes?
By default each page keeps its own size and is centred. You can also tick unify width to scale narrow pages up proportionally.
Does it fail with many pages?
The cap is 200 pages. Beyond that the page size exceeds the PDF limit, so split the file and stack in batches.
How is this different from PDF to long image?
This outputs a vector PDF whose text is still selectable and searchable, while a long image is a bitmap that is bigger and not selectable.
Can I set a gap between pages?
Yes. The gap is measured in pt (1pt is about 0.35mm). Enter 0 for seamless stacking.
